Team 2A were engrossed by the book above. We shared a few philosophical discussions on the difference between imagination and dreams. We also focussed on the theme of being the boss and how in his imaginary land, Max was King of the monsters yet in real-life he was banished to the bedroom by his mother. We briefly discussed behaviour and consequences and every parent will be jealous of Sue & Bob because Jake told me very convincingly that he has never been naughty...
This is the site that engaged 22 Year 2 students for 30 minutes and is obviously now a new favourite with their teacher:
