Best friendship advice ever
We explored the theme of friendship and discussed issues such as:
We also looked at some ways to enter a play situation.
The Team then filled in a worksheet which included sentence starters such as "Would..." and a few " Be..." statements. The following response from William made me chuckle out loud:
Be lovely.
Be very very lovely.
And is William lovely? Yes indeed, yes indeed! (Dr Seuss)
And are Two A lovely? Yes indeed, yes indeed! (Dr Seuss)

- being encouraging
- a willingness to share within reason

Going to Year 2 by...
Nellie
Under questions and worries, Nellie has written, "Are you going to be mean soon?"
The Year 2s have been filling in this form. It took us a long time. At the end of the year we are going to fill in the identical form except 'Year 2' will be replaced with 'Year 3'. We will then be able to see how our writing skills have developed over the year. We anticipate that the form will take a lot less time to complete!
