Looking for something to do in Brisbane during the holidays?
We were mesmerised by the
laser and light performance at South Bank (which continues until the 24th September). The lights and lasers are choreographed to beautiful musical scores. The best vantage point (thanks Mrs Reis!) is near the tents under the Wheel of Brisbane.
Year 2s, I could imagine fairies and dancing waves. Can't wait to hear what you thought and saw!

We caught the train...

Wheel of Brisbane |
waited excitedly in front of the Wheel of Brisbane
which was illuminated in this gorgeous purple colour
|
Lights and Lasers |
and watched
lights and lasers skip and dance across the river! You might like the water cannons too...
Thanks for posting about Santos City of Lights! It was part of Brisbane Festival 2011.
ReplyDeleteAwesome photos, we were a little down the river, should have read this post as you had a fantastic vantage point!
ReplyDeleteMy antique tripod was playing up so the photos are not so good! But it was a terrific show and so glad we managed to catch it!
Love the passing train shot just brilliant!
